Riders from the Plan B squad visited Peel this week and put up an excellent show taking the first 4 places in the A grade race with International rider Brad Hall taking victory, Hall was followed closely by Craig Cook and Jonathon Bolton taking second and third places. Wade Longworth took fifth place for Peel with a strong performance. The B grade race was won by another visitor, Kirby Smart, from regulars Ryan Willmot and Steven Greenshields in a sprint finish from a bunch of five riders that had managed to stay together during what was a very fast event. The C grade event was won by Andrew Brown from Alex Williamson and Travis Lord with the other riders following in over the next few minutes. In the D grade event Rob Mold and Rob Ramirez broke away early and built an unassailable lead. Mold took first, Ramirez second and Hayden Thorpe took the bunch sprint for third. E grade was poorly attended but some solid racing took place with John Bywater winning from Jimmy Lee and Cassia Higgs. In a 5 lap scratch race for the very young juniors Harry Lee-Kelly won from Todd and Jake Brown.
