RAC Freeway Bike Hike for Asthma – Request for Volunteers

The following message has come through from Cycling WA. If you are not attending the club’s Criterium Championships on the 24th March then please consider helping out.

Good Morning,

The 2013 RAC Freeway Bike Hike for Asthma is taking place on Sunday 24th March. As a Cycling Partner of the event, Cycling WA are supporting event coordinators in the search for volunteers for some particular roles at the event. Some information on these roles is available below. If you or anyone in your club are able to assist please ask them to contact volunteers@csports.com.au

We are seeking volunteers for:

Role: On Course Marshals (MUST BE 18 OR OVER)

Where: Between Mandurah and Kwinana
Time: On course marshals placed between Mandurah and Kwinana must meet at Mandurah train station by 6:00am. All volunteers will arrive back at Mandurah Train Station by 10:30am
Transport: From Mandurah Train Station, an allocated bus will drop off each of the volunteers along the freeway between Mandurah and Kwinana at certain points.
Additional Info: All volunteers will receive a volunteer pack that includes, a t-shit, hat, lanyard, bottle of water, snack and other goodies from our sponsors. This volunteer pack must be picked up at the collection point Friday 22nd OR Saturday 23rd March located at Langley Park.

Role: Collection Point

Where: Located at Langley Park
Time: Friday 22nd March 9:00am-7:00pm, Saturday 23rd March 9:00am-6:30pm
Additional Info: The collection point is for volunteers to pick up their volunteer pack and participants to collect their ride pack, participants can register their interest and for anyone to find out more information about the event.
