PDCC “Classics” Team

At PDCC WE RACE, and the reason we do this is to achieve our goals which are

VISION
Become the number one road cycling club in Western Australia though offering members value and encouragement

MISSION
To provide safe and enjoyable cycle racing and social opportunities for all cyclists in the Peel community.

This is the reason we are building a Classics Team. There is a significant difference between racing club races, and the Classic events within WA. The “Classics” are the key open events executed by clubs to bring the best of the cycling community to compete. They are tough races, and very competitive.

PDCC offers a significant amount of club racing, and we also want to support the Classic events around the state by bringing a team together.

In 2020 the classic events we target will be
1. Tom Lowry Memorial
2. Goldfield Cyclassic
3. Collie Donnybrook
4. Peel Classic
6. The Beverley
7. Tour of Margaret River.
8. There may be other events we target through out the year.

Membership with the “PDCC Classics Team” will be open to all members of PDCC, however there will be specific rules and expectations that members must follow. There is no specific expectation commitment to attending training rides, or to commit to attend every event.

What is in it for you?

Our goal is to offer pathways for our members into bigger racing opportunities. We want to be successful so that our members are targeted by bigger / professional teams looking to bolster their ranks. This is one of our key measures of success.

Good luck team.
