We are about to start our winter program of 18 Saturdays of racing. Unlike the criterium season, where we can swap marshals around from grades not riding at the time, all grades are on the road at the same time. Over the course of the program we will require 75 marshals.
All racing members agree, on joining the club, to do one marshaling assignment per season. We have 115 licenced non juniors so theoretically there should be no hassle in raising the required 75.
Marshals will each be awarded 5 points in the Road rider of the Year competition which is the equivalent of a third place in the race they select to marshal.
Would riders please select which event they would like to marshal, obviously if all riders select the same events we will need to do some sorting out – please regard this as a first try at sorting out the problem. Email rkw@pdcc.asn.au or stephen.dodd007@gmail.com of your selected time.
If non racers would like to offer their services that would be very welcome and would attract a payment of $20 petrol money

In addition to the above program we also run 3 open events and marshal for 2 or 3 cyclo-sportif events, the latter being fund raisers for the club. These are dealt with on an individual basis and attract some payment.
