The Peel District Cycling Club Welcomes You.
The PDCC caters for members of all ages from Under 11 to over 75. The club is fully concerned with ensuring the Peel Cycling community is given the opportunity to Race, Ride and Socialise in a pleasing and welcoming environment. This is achieved through offering members the opportunity to train and race; in club, open and state events and ensure that every member is welcomed, encouraged and guided to be able to get the most out of their individual cycling goals.
The PDCC coordinates a local racing series in both the Winter and Summer seasons with the racing calendar being headlined by the gold letter Peel Classic and the Peel Women and Junior Tour, aimed at supporting women and developing Junior riders.
The object of the club is to:
- Promote interest in cycling.
- Promote good fellowship among those interested in cycling.
- Educate, train, coach and encourage members of the Association.
- Promote, control and conduct safe cycling events
- Do all such things and acts conducive to the furtherance of the objects and interests of the Association.
The club is keen to expand its membership beyond its current level to provide more opportunities for increasing competition and participation in all of our events and making our great club even better.
We welcome visitors from other clubs to our regular race meetings which are itemised under our Racing Calendar and encourage PDCC members to support and compete at surrounding club races.
There are a large range of AusCycling membership options available to suit everyone’s personal interest in cycling, from the Non-Riding membership for supporters and/or members who are or want to be a club official, administrator or volunteer working behind the scenes in their local community/club but do not ride to the Race All Discipline for members who want it all on two wheels. Annual Race Member Club Add-On memberships allows AusCycling Race Members to join and support multiple clubs.
Memberships with PDCC start from as little as $30.00.
People interested in or wishing to involve themselves in cycling can visit our races and either watch the proceedings or take out an AusCycling Free Trial Membership (Terms & Conditions apply) to be able to evaluate the racing from within.
