About

The Peel District Cycling Club Welcomes You.

The club caters for members from Under 11 to over 75. The club is fully concerned with ensuring the Peel Cycling community is given the opportunity to Race, Ride and Socialise in a pleasing and welcoming environment. This is achieved through offering members the opportunity to train and race in club, open and state events, and ensure that every member is welcomed, encouraged and guided to be able to get the most out of their individual cycling goals.

The racing calendar is headlined by the gold letter Pinjarra Classic, and the Peel Junior Tour aimed at developing Junior riders. The club also organisers a local cycling racing series in both the Winter and Summer seasons.

The PDCC is very dedicated to the social aspect of riding, and offer a number of Social Group rides. The Rockingham Social Group rides Wednesday and Sunday every week (refer to Social page) and the Mundijong Wheelers ride each Thursday at 8:30am departing from the Mundijong Football Clubhouse for a one-and-a-half-hour ride around Mundijong and Serpentine followed by morning tea and good fellowship.

The object of the club is:

  1. To promote interest in cycling.
  2. To promote good fellowship among those interested in cycling.
  3. To educate, train, coach and encourage members of the Association.
  4. To do all such things and acts conducive to the furtherance of the objects and interests of the Association.

PDCC’s World Champion Peter Dawson

The club is keen to expand its membership beyond its current level to provide more opportunities for increasing competition and participation in all of our events and making our great club even better. There are a large range of membership options available to suit everyone’s personal interest in cycling. Memberships with PDCC start from as little as $10.00. (Membership)

People interested in wishing to involve themselves in cycling can visit our races and either watch the proceedings or take out a one or three-day licence to be able to evaluate the racing from within.

We welcome visitors from other clubs to our regular race meetings which are itemised under our Racing Calendar.

If you are interested in knowing more about our club please contact our President, Secretary or Treasurer on the numbers shown on the About page to find out how you can enjoy membership of our club.
