The only dedicated criterium course in W.A.
After some marquee dancing to get the registration tables in the right area, nominations opened on time. We were very pleased to have 48 riders turn up despite the short notice and competition from the Armadale Classic race.
We were also pleased to receive many complements on the size of the venue, the parking, the adjacent warm up area, nearby toilets and mostly the track itself. The 40 kph south westerly worked both ways!
How good was it not to have to deal with road traffic and give the marshal’s a day off.
Our thanks to the manager of Motorplex, Kevin Prendergast, for allowing us to use the venue and arriving early to shift the bollards round the course on his trusty tractor. We look forward to a close association with Motorplex.
The committee would appreciate any comments on how we can improve in the future.
