The great weather saw a big turn out in all grades, with 27 riders in B grade and 21 in C grade.
The juniors found the hilly Wandi course difficult and split the field up. With Lowen Ferry first, Matthew Connan second and Ethan Clark third.
A grade saw a break of three riders form on the third lap and the bunch slowly diminish every lap in pursuit. The three stayed away to the end with Matthew Upton winning the sprint from Chris Beeck second and Colin Rose third.
In B grade there were large number of attacks and a group of three even established a small break. But every attack was chased down which resulted in a bunch sprint, which was won by Steve Beales with Nigel Stella second and Matthew Swan third.
C grade was abandoned after a crash, which resulted in first aid required for two riders with abrasions.
D grade saw Adam Williams escape on the final lap, for a solo win. With Conor Leahy leading the bunch home for second with Dave Simmons third.
E grade split on the first lap and became an individual time trial for most riders, with Heather Connan winning from Ken Portman second and Chris Rouse third.
Next week the racing returns to the flatter Dog Hill course next week and the hope is for more fine weather and more big fields.
