There’s too many small news items to post separately, so I’ve bundled them together into one post:
3-Ride Permits for $30
We are continuing our promotion of a 3-Ride permit for $30. This now includes your race fees when you race club races at PDCC! This is a great deal if you want to try out racing before purchasing a Gold license.
Motorplex Course Change
This weekend we will return to the short criterium course at the rear of the Motorplex. Cones will be placed on the access road to guide cars through the speedway and into the rear carpark. There’s still plenty of grass, warmup area, and toilet access.
First Aid Course
There are several First Aid courses available in the near future, full course 8/9th April and refresher 15th April. Get in contact with Mark Glorie or Andrew Bennett for details, and the club will pay for your attendance. If there are any competitors/spectators who are already qualified, can you please make yourselves known on race days – Doctor Tony is not as sprightly as he used to be!
Defib on Line
For those not aware the club owns a defibrillator for use in case of emergencies. It is stored along with a large first aid kit, in the finish line and registration desk area. The device is very easy to use and offers voice instructions once turned on.
Graphic Designer Wanted
If anyone in the club has digital design skills, the club could use your skills in creating promotional material for events like the Peel Junior Tour and Pinjarra Classic. Mark can use an Office template like a mad dog, but we are hoping to find someone that can “make it POP”.
Tuesday training with JJ and Fraiser is still continuing for juniors and those wishing to improve their fitness and skills. Contact them for times and locations.
Timekeepers TT to Nambeelup
The annual Timekeepers TT will be on Sunday 3rd May. Due to local earthworks in Hopelands, there has been an increase in heavy vehicles on Hopelands Rd. For this reason we have moved to the Nambeelup area near Pinjarra. See the event page for details.
