The junior race, saw 7 riders face a challenging lap of the full course at Smeaton Way. With crosswinds on the main and back straights and a solid headwind on the short straight in between, making it difficult for all riders. Dakota Ramos managed the winds the best and rode away from her rivals to take the win. Gabriel Glorie, who is known for taking the shortest possible route, including jumping kerbs on his mountain bike was second and Kasandra Glorie third.
The winds kept D grade together until the final lap, when the attacks started as the turned onto the straight for the final time, in the dash to the line it was Jason Steele first, Robert Huntington second and Baden Gray third.
Within the first two laps, there was three riders off the front of C grade. Then it was two, then one as Jordan Dawson rode away to a solo victory. With Ben Konigsdorfer riding a lonely race in second and Matt Walker winning the bunch sprint from the reduced group for third.

B grade saw a number of attacks, but all were brought back. After 40 minutes, the bell for the final lap rang and the chaos started, as riders just attacked. In the end it was Michael Polmear first, Mark Glorie second and Tyler Lindorff third.
A grade quickly split into two groups. The small group off the front contained all the favourites, so everybody tried to get across. In the end the group of eight just rode away from the field. With a couple of laps to go, and with a couple of attacks, the group was reduced to five. When the bell rang Ryan Wilmott launched a final attack, which dislodged riders, but Willmott could not stop Theo Yates from taking the win, Wade Longworth was second and Willmott third.
