Racing Update – Friday June 5 2020

Well, we certainly got caught a little off guard last week with the announcement from the state government to enter Stage 3 as of tomorrow. There is nothing like sending out a notice to everyone in the morning, to have it all changed by lunch time. Anyway, apologies for that.

We have updated our calendar for the Winter Season with the changing conditions. While it would be great to be racing tomorrow as per our season calendar, the club took the prudent approach to hold off any costs until the future direction was clear. We had planned to utilise the Motorplex facility as a quick return to racing, but there appears to be significant issues here and this is not available at the moment, so this has also caused some delay.

Our season racing will start tomorrow virtually on RGT Cycling with a graded handicap event. The event will use our current grading (real world), so to enable this, we need you to enter via ENTRYBOSS, please enter the event here – https://entryboss.cc/races/5031 the race link is on the entry form. We need you  to do this, so that we can pick up the grading, and your real name so we can run our member competitions.

The following event was supposed to be the Nth Dandalup Handicap, again this will be run virtually, but we will also run it again later in the season in real life. Entry details will be posted, but again, we will need you to enter via Entryboss.

We are looking forward to seeing you all at the latest on June 27. There will be some differences, some new requirements, which we will keep you abreast of,  but we will be racing.

Thank you for your ongoing support during this period.
