CLR Fundraising

The Champion Lakes Racing team will be fundraising at Bunnings Rockingham on Sunday 19th July. They will be promoting Peel racing at the same time so it would be great to see some friendly faces there!

Training Group Chat

Fraser has started a Facebook group to discuss his Junior/Novice training sessions, which have been occurring on Sundays during the Winter months. Coming up is a handling skills session on grass, for softer landings! Join the group to get news on times and locations.

Portable Toilet

The club has been offered a portable trailer-toilet to hire on the weekends where we don’t have facilities available. We are looking for members that would be able to pick up the trailer from Coates Mandurah on Saturday mornings, and return it Monday mornings after 7am. Swan Valley Cyclo Sportif and Winter Grand Prix

BWA is conducting a Cyclo Sportif event in the Swan Valley on 28th June, which coincides with the Track Cycling Winter Grand Prix. Distances range from 32 to 80 kilometres. Lunch is provided afterwards at the Midvale SpeedDome, where you can sit in the VIP area and enjoy the talent on display on the track.

Winter Clothing Appeal

At this weekend’s race, Corey from Helping Hands will be taking donations of winter clothing and blankets. These items will be used to help the homeless of Fremantle-Cockburn. Blankets, scarves, jumpers, gloves, anything you can spare would be greatly appreciated.
