Together with the Catalpa Adventure Festival, and the Fenian Society, join us in recreating the 1876 escape of Irish prisoners from Fremantle Prison.
Starting with breakfast provided by the Fenian Society, the ride will “escape” Fremantle and make its way along Cockburn Rd and Rockingham Rd to the festival on the Rockingham foreshore. Ride leaders will keep everyone together and a support vehicle will be following.
Period or themed costumes are encouraged, with a prize available for best-dressed!
If you do not already have existing ride insurance coverage through organisations like AusCycling or WestCycle, you can get FREE coverage for this event by registering for a 4 week trial through AusCycling. (start your trial membership after March 5th to cover this event)
